Sea Green Agate, a semi-precious gemstone, is a type of Chalcedony that belongs to the Quartz family. Characterised by its beautiful green colour, this type of agate varies from light to dark shades. It is said to be a healing stone and has a protective impact on the person who wears it.
I have used 13mm square faceted cabochons in making these classic earrings which are a lovely watery light green colour. The gemstones are set into a fine and sterling bezel which is open at the back to let light and reflections through. They hang on sterling silver shepherd hooks and have a drop of 3cm. Wear them with anything!
