These Eroded earrings are an addition to my Organic Erosion range. I first carve them in wax and then cast them in sand. By the very nature of the way I do my sand casting, each pair of eroded earrings may turn out slightly differently. Using this technique, I am able to cast them individually to achieve different affects. I give each earring a slightly pitted and uneven finish which is inspired by the natural elements and erosion
They look stunning when worn with any combination of my other organic pieces. They particularly compliment my very popular collection of Organic Erosion rings and necklaces. The surface texture is rustic and organic, and represents to me the unpredictability of our natural changing world.
By their very nature, every pair of these earrings will be slightly different. In fact each earring in each pair may be a little different too. That’s the beauty of each piece being individually handmade.
