Description
I make these unusual Long Waterfall Earrings with 24kt gold out of eight hand cut fine 999 silver discs and I give each pair of discs a different finish. I decorate the top discs in each earring with an abstract pattern in 24ct gold using the ancient Korean technique of Keum Boo. Keum Boo literally means “attaching gold” and is the fusing of pure gold onto silver. I then antique them to create a lovely dark contrast against the gold. The remaining discs are hammered and oxidised in a similar way, each pair with a slightly different effect. I then gently dome, polish and join them together giving a lovely graduated effect of tumbling water.
If in stock, the earrings will be dispatched within three working days. If showing as out of stock, please contact me and I will make them for you. Delivery will be approximately two weeks.
Dimensions
The discs are 12mm in diameter and are 1mm thick. The earrings have a total drop of over 60mm.
Together they have a weight of more than 10 grams of pure silver.
