This organic ring with sapphires is part of my new organic erosion collection. The inspiration comes from the natural weathering and erosion of rocks which working together form a wonderful combination of smooth surfaces, uneven ripples and misshapen holes.
It is a beautiful and unusual feature ring, with irregular sides and random holes and is full of character. I have set five fiery coloured sapphires of various sizes into the ring which have been cast in place, giving it a rustic and organic appeal. I have then given it a lovely smooth polished finish. It is very comfortable to wear and looks fabulous in its boldly unpredictable style, showing off the beauty of natural imperfection.
