Classic amethyst drop earrings. The beauty of amethyst is the huge range of purple hues that we find in this gorgeous gemstone. The amethysts in these earrings are oval, approximately 10mm x 14mm and have a drop of 3cm. They are on the lighter end of the spectrum, being a lovely pale gentle colour and I have set them in a sterling silver open bezel to let more light through. They’re perfect for dressing up or just adding a bit of flair to your everyday look.
Amethyst is often associated with spiritual meanings and beliefs, including calming and tranquility, and protection against negative energies. It is also thought to promote balance and harmony in various aspects of life. And last but not least, it is said to encourage sobriety!
